Lottie Graph Animation

Lottie Graph Animations are vector based animations that have been created using Adobe After Effects and are then exported as a json file. This is a particularly good format for websites, apps, and games that need animation, but do not want to deal with the hassle of creating individual files for each frame.

Animated Lottie Chart Example

Seen here is a dynamic lottie graph that supports full background transparency and can be set to either hover over, looped animations or click to play. Animated lottie charts and graphs can be a great way to add some life to your data and make it more engaging for your users.

Depending on your developer’s skillset, you may be able to find a plugin or script that will allow you to create and edit your lottie files directly in After Effects, without having to export them as json files.

The same goes for embedding the final lottie chart into a website, depending on how your website was built a simple plugin might be enough to play these animated lottie charts and graphs.

If you need help creating a lottie animation or want to explore using this format for your next project, feel free to get in touch and we can go over your project requirements.
